Dr. Manohar received her M.D. degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was also chosen to be Chief Resident while at Robert Wood Johnson. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship at the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she also served as chief fellow. She joined the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 2013.

Dr. Jesse Boodoo was born in Trinidad and completed his B.S. in Biology at the University of Tampa, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He received his M.D. degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Boodoo completed his Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Boodoo engages in clinical research at the Sarasota Arthritis Center. He teaches medical students and residents during their rheumatology electives. Beyond his professional commitments, he finds pleasure in acquiring knowledge about new subjects, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Boodoo became a part of the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 2018.

Dr. Johnston was born in Colombia and moved to the US at 5yrs old.  She was raised in NJ and received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers, the State University of NJ. Dr. Johnston received early acceptance into the Access Med Program at Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. She received her medical degree as well as completed her internal residency training at Robert Wood Johnson. Following her internal residency, Dr. Johnston completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY where she was the Chief Fellow. Before transitioning to Sarasota, Florida, she worked as a Rheumatologist in New Jersey. Dr. Johnston joined the esteemed team at Sarasota Arthritis Centers in 2014, bringing a deep passion for rheumatology. Her dedication to patient care and leadership allowed her to rise to a pivotal role in the practice.

In 2021, Dr. Johnston ascended to the role of Managing Partner, a testament to her leadership abilities and vision for the future of rheumatology care. Under her guidance, Sarasota Arthritis Centers has continued to flourish, providing cutting-edge treatments and compassionate care to patients grappling with a variety of arthritic conditions.

Dr. Johnston's approach to management is characterized by a collaborative spirit and commitment to innovation, striving to be a catalyst for growth.  

As Managing Partner, she oversees the strategic direction of the practice, mentors the next generation of rheumatologists, and maintains an active role in patient care. 

Dr. Johnston married her high school sweetheart in 2007 and they have three children. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys traveling and cherishing her free time with friends and family. 

Dr. Weitzner received his M.D. degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. His Rheumatology Fellowship was at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Brad Weitzner is Dr. Ronald Weitzner's son. He joined Sarasota Arthritis Center in 2006.

Dr. Kimberly Lyn Shue was born and raised in Jamaica where she attended the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, receiving academic honors in her preclinical years. She then completed a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Cardiff University in Wales and was awarded Distinction for her academic excellence.

Dr. Lyn Shue completed her residency in New York City at Harlem Hospital Center in affiliation with Columbia University. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She was a featured speaker in the 'Louisville Lecture Series', as part of the educational program for the University of Louisville Internal Medicine residents.

She has also actively volunteered with the Y.M.C.A. and the 'Blessings in a Backpack' programs that provide meals for children in public schools. She joined the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 2018.

Alana Wriggins leads the clinical research program at Sarasota Arthritis Center, bringing more than 25 years of experience in clinical research operations, pharmaceutical development, and patient‑centered care. She oversees the operational execution of clinical studies focused on advancing treatments for rheumatologic and autoimmune diseases, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

With a background spanning global pharmaceutical leadership and hands‑on nursing care, Ms. Wriggins offers a unique perspective on research excellence and patient advocacy. She holds a Master of Health Science in Clinical Research Administration and is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
