










Physicians' Backgrounds
Dr. Ronald I. Weitzner received his M.D. degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his internship at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Weitzner's residency in Internal Medicine was completed at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He completed his fellowship in Rheumatology at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Weitzner founded the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 1977.
Dr. Richard A. Yonker received his D.O. degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his internship at Parkview Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Yonker's residency in Internal Medicine was at the Albert Einstein Medical Center-Northern Division in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Yonker joined the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 1984.
Dr. Jeffrey L. Kaine received his M.D. degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Kaine also completed his Rheumatology fellowship at Barnes Hospital, Washington University. Dr. Kaine was an assistant professor of medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine before joining the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 1986.
Dr. Daniel Small received his M.D. degree from Brown University. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Roger Williams General Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Small completed his fellowship in Rheumatology at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, California, and at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Small had over 10 years experience practicing Rheumatology in California and Texas before joining the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 1993.
Dr. Yoel Drucker received his M.D. degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his internship at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Drucker's residency in Internal Medicine was at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He completed his fellowship in Rheumatology and Immunology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Drucker joined the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 1996.
Dr. Robert L. Ikeman received his M.D. degree from McGill University in Canada. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at McGill University-Royal Victoria Hospital. Dr. Ikeman completed his Fellowship at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ikeman had over ten years experience practicing rheumatology in Toronto, Ontario before joining the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 1999.
Dr. Tatiana Huguenin received her M.D. degree from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. She completed her residency in Internal Medical at Carney Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Huguenin's Rheumatology fellowship was at the University of South Florida, Tampa, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She joined the Sarasota Arthritis Center in 2001.
Dr. Brad S. Weitzner received his M.D. degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. His Rheumatology Fellowship was at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Brad Weitzner is Dr. Ronald Weitzner's son.
